Ascent Aviation is growing, and we are on the lookout for a Bidder to support our efforts in managing all aspects of bids, quotes, and proposals. This position plays a key role in helping us prepare accurate cost estimates and supporting planning activities across our maintenance operations. The Bidder supports the bidding, quoting, and estimating process for aircraft maintenance projects and is responsible for preparing quotes, tracking customer requirements, and assisting with scheduling and resource planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a strong communicator with a passion for aviation and teamwork. Aviation experience is a plus, but a strong ability to coordinate and execute tasks with accuracy is what we value most.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Maintenance, Sales, and Supply Chain) to gather the data necessary for quotes and proposals.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes, proposals, and bid packages based on customer RFPs and maintenance requirements.
- Analyze aircraft maintenance task data and OEM program requirements to support cost estimating.
- Identify labor, material, and turnaround time requirements for various projects.
- Enter and maintain quote details in internal tracking systems; ensure data is current and easily accessible.
- Update quote templates and pricing documentation in accordance with approved labor and material rates.
- Assist the Manager of Bidding in forecasting schedule availability and supporting resource planning.
- Track the status of submitted quotes and coordinate follow-ups with Sales and Operations teams.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of historical quotes and proposal data for internal reporting and future reference.
- Ensure Aircraft Operates under an Air Authority we are Certificated for.
Marginal Job Functions:
- Ensure that all work performed is done in a safe manner. Directs activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines; attention to detail and mathematical skills; ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and maintenance data.
- Experience in aviation, aerospace, or technical estimating.
- Experience working with aircraft maintenance scheduling or quoting tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business, or related field. (Preferred)
- A&P License or technical knowledge of aircraft systems. (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED:
- Telephone, personal computer, multiple printers, copy machine, and shredder.
- May be required to operate additional office equipment not explicitly listed in this description as needed to perform job duties effectively.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work primarily in the Main Hangar building office with occasional travel to various locations on base.
- Potential exposure to materials listed on Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Protective Equipment Required: None
OTHER DUTIES:
- May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
