Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Mesa, AZ, with a contract-to-hire arrangement expected for 13 weeks. The role supports a pharmacy team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians within a setting that processes fewer than 100 prescriptions daily.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter data into the Pioneer Rx system
- Communicate with patients and physicians’ offices as needed
- Fill and dispense medications prescribed by providers, ensuring verification of any patient allergies
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to organizational policies
- Deliver excellent customer service that meets patient and organizational expectations
Qualifications:
- Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona
- Minimum of 2 years recent hands-on retail pharmacy experience
