Salary:

Under direct supervision, the Recreation Facility Attendant (Clifton Gym) supports the daily operations, programming, and customer service at the Clifton Gym. This role contributes to delivering highquality recreation experiences for community members by assisting with front desk services, youth programs, special events, and facility readiness.

The Clifton Gym Facility Attendant works as part of the Risher Amenity Management team to ensure a welcoming, safe, and communityfocused environment for all guests. This position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and active facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive, friendly and professional presence at front desk for all members and guests.
• Provide program, facility and membership information at the front desk.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
• Assists in planning, coordinating and delivering recreation programs for youth, teens and adults.
• Supports community center events including seasonal celebrations, tournaments and community gatherings.
• Help with event set up, teardown, equipment distribution, check-in and logistics.
• Provide on-site support to ensure programs and events run smoothly and safely.
• Assist with promoting programs across community channels.
• Maintain active supervision in assigned indoor, outdoor, and aquatic environments.
• Supervise youth participants during programs and activities
• Monitor participant behavior and enforce facility rules and safety guidelines
• Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions per protocols
• Maintain awareness of safety standards and best practices
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the Clifton Gym.
• Maintain recreation equipment and supplies in good working condition
• Conduct basic inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
• Assist with facility readiness and cleanup before and after programs and events
• Track and document equipment usage as assigned
• Maintain accurate program records, attendance logs and documentation.

• Perform other duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal systems for schedules, reports and registration data.
• Comfort working in an active recreational environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain positive community and working relationships
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods, ability to lift no more than 20 lbs., and assist in event set up/tear down.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma and equivalent

Preferred experience in recreation, youth programs, customer service or facility operations.

Required Certifications:

Current CPR, AED, First Aid, or ability to obtain within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
