Job Title: Field Service Assembler
Job Description
This role is a temporary travel assignment to support the rework of incomplete units. As a Field Service Assembler, you will assist Level 2 technicians in a supportive capacity. This includes providing hands-on support with hand and power tools and aiding in the installation of parts on CRAH units at customer warehouses.
Responsibilities
- Support rework and parts installation under the guidance of the Service Lead.
- Assist Level 2 technicians with unit cleaning, wrapping, and manual work.
- Contribute to daily report preparation on work performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications.
- Visually inspect incoming materials for quality compliance.
- Torque, bolt, rivet, screw, clip, and bond component parts as required.
- Inspect assemblies and installations to meet quality specifications.
- Operate computer equipment to read product drawings and bills of materials.
- Coordinate workflow, paperwork, and communications as directed.
- Maintain a clean work area in accordance with the 5S program.
- Perform point-to-point, hi-pot, and other testing as required.
- Rework defective pieces to meet quality standards.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience in assembly, mechanical repair, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Ability to use hand and power tools for assembly and repairs.
- Basic computer skills for document access and HMI operation.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in tight spaces, and climb ladders.
- Comfortable in mission-critical environments with high uptime requirements.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Experience with assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.
- Must be willing to travel 100% of the time, including weekends.

Work Environment
This is a 3-month traveling position with the potential to join the Mesa 2 plant as an electrician or assembler. Candidates may be considered for a permanent Field Service role post-assignment. The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and climbing portable ladders. Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory. Expect overtime and weekend work, with shifts starting as early as 5 AM and ending as late as 4 PM. Travel accommodations, including airfare, rental cars, and hotel stays, will be provided, with options for mileage reimbursement if driving personal vehicles. A daily per diem for food is included.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
