Senior Accountant
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Scottsdale, AZ. Overview: Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting. This role will partner closely with operations and leadership to ensure accurate financial data and support company growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Senior Accountant will perform month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support cost accounting and inventory analysis
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
- Analyze manufacturing variances and production costs
- As a Senior Accountant, you will support internal controls and process improvements
- Work cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles
- ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
