We are currently seeking a customer-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to join our growing mid-sized roofing company. As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer care experiences through phone and email interactions. The ideal candidate will have a delightful disposition, excel in customer service, and possess the ability to follow up on all customer needs. Additionally, proficiency in answering phones, entering information into QuickBooks and Excel, and effectively handling customer challenges is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers over the phone and by email, ensuring delightful and positive experiences.
- Answer customer calls, schedule appointments, and handle customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Send invoices in QuickBooks and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Utilize Excel and Word to enter and organize data, create reports, and produce necessary documents.
- Collaborate with team members to create bids and follow up with customers accordingly.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication, ensuring seamless coordination and keeping teams informed about clients and their needs.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by operating in various roles, including general communication (phone and email), report creation, bid creation, and supporting overall operations.
Requirements:
- Possess a delightful disposition and excellent interpersonal skills in all customer interactions.
- Proficient in phone and email customer communication.
- Experience with data entry in Excel and document creation in Word.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, including invoice creation and inputting work orders.
- Ability to handle customer challenges effectively and provide appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of the roofing/construction industry is a plus.
- Previous experience in the service industry is a plus.

Monday to Friday
