About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the operating room is required. License: Active RN license is required. Certifications: BLS certification is required. Must-Have: Proficiency in circulating for orthopedic and neuro surgeries is required. Experience with robotic surgeries, ENT, cardiac, general, and pediatric surgeries is required. Description: Orientation is held twice a month. Upcoming orientation dates are available. Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the operating room is required. BLS certification is required. EPIC charting system experience is preferred. 10 or 12-hour weekday shifts with rotational call on nights and weekends are required. 6-8 weekend call shifts are expected per contract. 1 weekday call shift per week is required. Proficiency in all orthopedic procedures, including total joints and spine fusions, is essential. Experience in neurology procedures is also required. Candidate must be able to circulate for both orthopedic and neuro surgeries. Experience in specialized surgeries such as lumbar fusion, craniotomy, and trauma is required. Daily service includes handling various patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The operating room consists of 12 suites specializing in orthopedic and neuro procedures. Special equipment includes navigation systems and monitoring tools tailored for surgeries. Flexibility to float to other locations may be required. Scheduled breaks during shifts will be provided. Block scheduling will not be accommodated. Submissions will need supervisory references for eligibility. Candidates with DUI histories will be subject to specific reviews for eligibility. Work history from previous local facilities may require acknowledgment.
