Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports the company’s revenue and profit targets
  • Effectively prospect for new dealers while developing existing dealer and key account relationships
  • Regularly conduct product and sales training for dealer personnel
  • Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects, and be available and responsive to customers’ real-time needs
  • Complete sales activity reports and prepare presentations in a timely manner
  • Travel as required to develop and grow business in the assigned territory, and to several national events
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated strong work ethic
  • Conduct annual sales plans and prepare rolling forecasts with dealers
  • Build long-term, productive and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new dealers and decision-makers without reliance on excessive client entertainment
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent industry experience.

Experience:

  • Must be able to thrive in a team atmosphere with a positive “can-do” attitude
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification
  • Proven history of effective territory and dealer management by meeting sales targets and generating increased revenue
  • 5 + years selling capital equipment or retail vehicles to an independent network of dealers.
  • Prior experience training and developing independent dealer sales personnel is a must.
  • Experienced working within a CRM-based activity / accountability platform
  • Ability to travel extensively within an assigned territory

Compensation

  • Annual Base Salary negotiable based on experience
  • Company Truck & Trailer, Cell Phone and Credit Card for Business Use
