Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney OR Associate Attorney
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 2-3 days / week remote)
Salary: $150k-$190k + Benefits + Bonus + 401k Match, etc.
Requirements: Experience as an Attorney, focused on Insurance Defense or related civil litigation

The Phoenix office of a nationally recognized civil litigation defense firm is seeking a senior and mid-level Associate Attorney to join its growing General Liability team. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to work alongside some of the most respected defense lawyers in the industry.

This position requires active Arizona bar licensure . The role follows a hybrid schedule , with attorneys working onsite in the Phoenix office 2-3 days /week.

Our attorneys are trusted partners to a broad range of clients, including major domestic and international insurance carriers and large private companies. The firm's General Liability group handles an extensive mix of matters, giving associates exposure to diverse and challenging cases.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing general liability cases from initial investigation through resolution

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and detailed client reports

• Taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

• Collaborating with lead attorneys on litigation strategy, mediation, and trial prep

• Communicating with clients and carriers while adhering to reporting and billing guidelines

What You Need for this Position

• Civil Litigation experience, ideally with exposure to insurance defense
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Familiarity with carrier reporting and billing guidelines (preferred)
• Ability to manage cases proactively and work closely with senior attorneys
• Arizona bar membership (required)
