Summary:

The Account Manager position is responsible for achieving sales goals and objectives through effective selling, merchandising, servicing, and completing other related sales duties. Supervises store merchandising and ensures all accounts are satisfied and properly serviced.

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• Increase distribution of all products and packages
• Secure the best possible selling position for our products
• Sell-in permanent, temporary, and promotional secondary displays
• Ensure that discounts are used effectively to increase sales
• Solicit placement of marketing equipment for exclusive use of Legacy Beverage products
• Sell sufficient product inventory to eliminate out-of-stock situations
• Monitor customer satisfaction with merchandiser and delivery personnel.
• Identify and solicit all lost, inactive or potential new accounts on assigned route
• Notify the Branch Manager of all new account opportunities so they can assist in securing the new account if needed
• Maintain and increase shelf facings for all Legacy Beverage products
• Display all Legacy Beverage products by brand according to the vertical stacking concept and current standards
• Utilize Point-of-Purchase materials to stimulate sales
• Perform quality checks and corrections when necessary on fountain equipment
• Place and maintain fountain POP material
• Identify and handle any close-dated products per P.Q.I. policy
• Communicate merchandising instructions to merchandisers
• Make sure all “selling tools” are in the sales vehicle
• Follow correct check-out procedures
• Drive vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations
• Report all vehicle damage and required maintenance to the Mechanic and/or the Branch Manager; and keep vehicle neat/clean at all times
• Must be able to lift product weighing at least 55 pounds
• Attend all sales meetings
• Various other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
