About the Role

We’re seeking a Retail Systems Consultant (Unified Commerce Specialist) to deliver integrated digital retail solutions that align Point of Sale (POS) systems and e-commerce platforms with client business goals.

In this role, you’ll serve as the bridge between retail operations and technology , helping clients get the most from platforms such as Teamwork Commerce, Retail Pro, Lightspeed, Shopify, and BigCommerce . You’ll optimize workflows, improve customer experiences, and ensure technology supports retail success.

What You’ll Do

• Advise clients on POS and e-commerce strategy, configuration, and deployment

• Act as a subject matter expert on POS and unified commerce technologies

• Lead discovery sessions, analyze retail workflows, and document system requirements

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless project execution

• Provide training, guidance, and support for retail tech solutions

• Track billable hours, manage project scope, and ensure client satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in retail technology, retail operations, or a related field

• Strong knowledge of retail operations and POS/e-commerce platforms

• Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, Teamwork Commerce, Retail Pro, and Lightspeed

• Proven ability to analyze retail business needs, recommend solutions, and optimize workflows

• Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

• Certifications in POS systems or e-commerce platforms (a plus)

• Familiarity with retail system integrations (POS, ERP, OMS, Cloud)
