Key Responsibilities: 1. Customer Service:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Take customer orders, suggest menu items, and provide information about products or promotions.
- Ensure accurate and timely order processing, ensuring customers receive their orders as expected.
- Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide a high level of customer service during busy periods.
- Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring that all menu items are made according to KFC’s quality standards.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling, cooking, and storage of food items.
- Ensure food is served fresh, hot, and accurately prepared at all times.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness in the restaurant, including the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas regularly.
- Ensure all food preparation areas meet the required hygiene standards.
- Follow all company policies for sanitation, health, and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and leadership to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees and supervisors to meet customer needs.
- Assist in training new team members and provide guidance as needed.
- Be flexible in performing a variety of tasks and help out where needed across different areas of the restaurant.
- Handle cash and operate the register accurately, ensuring correct change is given to customers.
- Assist in maintaining accurate cash drawers and complete necessary paperwork for register transactions.
- Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company procedures.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Follow all company policies related to health and safety, including proper food handling and safety procedures.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times, including when operating kitchen equipment.
- Assist in the restocking of supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Support the team in ensuring that the restaurant meets customer expectations and operational goals.
- Participate in promotional activities and company events as directed by the restaurant manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors to ensure the restaurant’s smooth operation.
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or fast-food role is a plus but not required.
- No prior experience needed, as training will be provided.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food quality.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and support fellow team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years old (age requirement may vary based on location).
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move around the restaurant.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
