Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Flagstaff Smiles

Location: Flagstaff, AZ (906 W. University Ave)

Position Type: Full-Time (32–36 hours/week)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional Fridays, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

Compensation: $48.00 – $50.00 / hour + Monthly Hygiene Bonus

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

As a vital member of our clinical team, you will deliver top-tier preventative care and build trusting relationships with our patient base.

• Clinical Excellence: Perform high-quality preventative and periodontal dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing).

• Comprehensive Assessments: Thoroughly evaluate patients' oral health, check for signs of periodontal disease, and perform oral cancer screenings.

• Advanced Diagnostics: Utilize digital dental radiography to capture accurate, clean X-rays for diagnostic review.

• Patient Advocacy & Education: Educate patients on personalized home-care regimens, optimal oral hygiene techniques, and the systemic connection to overall health.

• Accurate Charting: Maintain immaculate, up-to-date digital clinical records and treatment plans.

• Doctor Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Dr. Stark during comprehensive patient examinations to ensure seamless continuity of care.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain via reciprocity).

• Anesthesia (Preferred): Laser certification and local anesthesia endorsement are highly valued.

• Culture Fit: A positive, team-driven personality with excellent communication skills. We love professionals who bring great energy to the clinic floor!

• Software: Experience with modern dental practice management software is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person on our systems.
