The Engineering Capital Finance Team is looking for a highly motivated Financial Principal Specialist to support the Engineering Capital Team. This role will provide financial planning, analysis, and oversight of the Engineering Capital multi-million-dollar portfolio. Primary responsibilities will include working with project managers and key stakeholders to identify and accurately forecast Engineering Capital efforts that span all Strategic Business Units & Engineering Directorates. Other responsibilities include process improvements in tracking/consolidating forecasts, financial forecasting, providing variance analysis, validating financial accuracy and trends, preparation of financial reporting, and capitalization of projects at completion. Working as part of a financial analyst team with the Engineering Capital Finance manager, the Engineering Capital Execution team, and the capital project leads, the individual will help implement the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the individual project plans. In addition, this position requires wide-ranging financial support and analysis across Engineering, FP&A and the Mission Areas regarding project health & prioritization, ROI analysis, manpower forecasting, process improvement and overall management of business-related tasks. The successful candidate will partner with the Capital Manager, Project Leads, and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) FP&A leads to ensure that the team is aligned, accountable and compliant throughout the Capital process. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
