Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 4:00pm–2:30am
Employment Type: 6‑Month Contract (Potential to Convert to Full‑Time Based on Performance, Attitude & Attendance)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to support the manufacturing and integration of a full fly‑by‑wire spacecraft. This role involves hands‑on electrical installation, harness fabrication, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with cutting‑edge aerospace hardware.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install avionics components, wire harnesses, DAUs (Data Acquisition Units), and sensors on spacecraft hardware.
- Perform wire tying, routing, labeling, stripping, crimping, terminations, and continuity checks using standard aerospace tools and procedures.
- Support manufacturing activities related to installation, design, development, and testing of parts used in aircraft and space systems.
- Follow detailed work instructions and collaborate closely with team leads and engineers to ensure accurate execution.
- Provide technical input related to repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and avionics systems.
- Work on moderately complex builds requiring sound judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ensure high‑quality installations by performing and, when needed, guiding troubleshooting efforts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused work environment.
- Collaborate effectively across teams to meet project goals and production timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft, aerospace, or related electrical fabrication/assembly.
- Hands‑on experience with wire harness fabrication, installation, and LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and digital models.
- Proficient with shop tools including multimeters, soldering irons, crimpers, strippers, cutters, and related electrical tools.
- Comfortable using computer‑based manufacturing instructions and digital work platforms.
Work Environment
- 2nd Shift: Thursday–Sunday, 4:00pm–2:30am
- Overtime: Possible, but not guaranteed

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
