1st Shift: (6:00am-2:30pm)
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail‐oriented Operator II – Hardware Department to join our team in Chandler, AZ. This role is responsible for operating hardware press equipment and installing a wide variety of hardware components into fabricated parts. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint‐reading skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately track labor and documentation in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hardware press equipment to install PEM nuts, PEM studs, flush nuts, and other hardware
• Set up and run hardware press operations safely and efficiently
• (Preferred) Experience with Haeger hardware insertion machines
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Verify correct hardware type, location, and orientation per print requirements
• Accurately count parts and record labor in the company labor tracking system
• Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
• Perform in‐process inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Maintain an organized workstation and follow 5S and safety standards
• Communicate quality, tooling, or equipment issues to supervision
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the department

Required Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or hardware installation experience preferred
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately track labor and complete documentation
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Basic computer skills for labor tracking and documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating Haeger hardware insertion machines
• Prior experience installing PEM hardware or similar fasteners
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or quality systems

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, arms, and upper body

Work Environment

• Manufacturing / production environment
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and standard shop conditions
• Required use of PPE as applicable
