Senior Travel Consultant (Remote)

In this role, you will perform high-touch service excellence to key client travelers and be responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.).

You will provide active travel consultation, including providing travel details and up-selling related products.

As a Senior Travel Consultant, you will:

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer (being Consultative in offer better routings, fares, round the world fares, alternative hotel options)
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported
• Expertly use the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to complete requests
• My ARC
• I-Sight (logging Complaints, Compliments, and Value Adds)
• Airline Portals (AA Sales link, Delta Pro, United JetStream)
• GroundSpan
• OKB
• IRD/DMED
• All aspects of GPoS (including setting up exchanges)
• Voice and Email on AgentSource Compass
• Queue work

About you:

Strong skills in international reservations

Working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes

Strong skills in GDS Sabre and BCD applications

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

At BCD Travel we value you, our culture and success is defined by you. We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Travel Consultant is between $48,000 and $60,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
