We are seeking a highly meticulous Processing Associate to support the critical back-end function of tax and cost basis management. This role focuses on utilizing specialized Business Process Management (BPM) and processing software to maintain accurate records, directly impacting client tax forms and regulatory compliance.

salary: $22 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with proprietary and backend processing software to meticulously adjust cost basis methods and properly reflect investment losses within the account record.
• Ensure that all processing adjustments are accurately reflected on client tax forms (e.g., Form 1099-B) and internal accounting systems (Crave).
• Proactively investigate and uncover processing errors, data discrepancies, and compliance issues within the accounting and tax records.

Qualifications

• Previous experience (1-3 years) in back-office operations, brokerage, accounting, or tax processing roles is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to perform complex calculations and data reconciliation to uncover subtle errors.
• Ability to quickly learn and efficiently operate proprietary backend processing systems and Business Process Management (BPM) tools.
