The McCormick Scottsdale is currently seeking a dynamic and engaging Evening Lobby and Public Space Attendant to join our Housekeeping team and help keep our public spaces polished, inviting, and guest‑ready.
Your Impact
The McCormick Scottsdale is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PM Lobby and Public Spaces Attendant to join our dedicated team. As the PM Lobby and Public Spaces Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and ambiance of the hotel’s lobby and public areas during the evening hours, ensuring an inviting environment for our guests.
Your responsibilities will include cleaning and tidying the lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces, as well as addressing any issues promptly. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help uphold the high standards of our establishment and create a positive guest experience.
This position requires flexibility, good time management, and a proactive approach to maintaining the hotel’s public areas. You will work closely with other team members to ensure all areas are well-maintained and guests are comfortable throughout their stay.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean and maintain the hotel lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, and other public spaces during evening shifts.
- Ensure all public areas are tidy, free from debris, and presentable at all times.
- Restock amenities and supplies in public restrooms.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues in public areas to appropriate departments.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries or requests encountered in public spaces.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events or functions held in public areas when necessary.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to maintain standards and address special cleaning requests.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently within designated shift hours.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or a similar role in hospitality is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work evening shifts and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina for cleaning duties, including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is a plus.
