Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000/year

Overview

A respected North Scottsdale law firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support its litigation team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has strong experience supporting attorneys with litigation documents, court filings, and case management.

The ideal candidate will bring strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism when working with clients and legal professionals.

This is a full-time, in-office position located in North Scottsdale, Arizona .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and file litigation documents and pleadings

• Manage court filings, including electronic filings in state and federal courts

• Maintain attorney calendars, court deadlines, and case schedules using Law Toolbox or similar docketing software

• Coordinate meetings, depositions, and other legal appointments

• Draft and proofread legal correspondence, memoranda, and other documents

• Organize and maintain digital files and case records using document management systems

• Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and legal vendors

• Support attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day administrative and case management tasks

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in a law firm environment

• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing processes

• Experience with multi-state court filings preferred , but not required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

• Experience with NetDocuments, Centerbase, or similar legal management software preferred

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Professional communication and client service skills
