Job Description

The Receiving Clerk position involves matching purchase orders against the products physically received, counting, and labeling these products to allocate them to the appropriate sites. Each item received is scanned into a container, such as a pallet, for timely shipping. The role also requires the use of a pallet jack or forklift to move products and entering data such as inventory and part numbers into the computer system.

Responsibilities

• Match purchase orders with received products.
• Count and label products for site allocation.
• Scan items into containers for shipping.
• Use pallet jack or forklift to move products.
• Enter inventory and part numbers into computer systems.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of shipping and/or receiving experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• High attention to detail and counting ability.
• Experience with forklift and pallet jack operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills.
• Experience with cycle counts, warehouse inventory, order picking, labeling, inventory control, and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and bills of lading.
• General labor experience.

Work Environment

Our Client provides critical e-fulfillment warehouse implementation services, focusing on maximum site efficiencies through design consultation, technical integration, buildout, and retrofits. The work environment requires steel-toed shoes and jeans. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime communicated in advance for planning.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Goodyear, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
