Area Revenue Analyst

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for optimizing revenue in the hospitality sector? We're seeking a dynamic Area Revenue Analyst to be at the forefront of our revenue management efforts. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting the hotel's yield strategies through meticulous analysis and reporting. What You Will Do:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support hotel's yield efforts, via analysis and reporting that ensure that all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace and market demand.
- Assist the management of Premium Branded hotels in monitoring and analyzing demand data so that strategic daily selling strategies can be implemented to consistently drive REVPAR.
- Create and analyze competitive hotel information to assist in proper decision making. Ensure updated information exists in all channels, i.e. Reservation systems, internet, GDS, etc.
- Assist in maximizing revenue potential and ensure proactive and accurate maintenance and management of all systems: Opera/PMS/Synxis/ HMS/PMS/Booking Engines/Channel Manager/Ideas/RMS and Rate Shopping Data/Lighthouse.
- Own and validate all required manual & integrated pricing data entry for all the online platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
- Assist the Revenue Department in preparing short and long-term forecasts.
- Support the Revenue Department in compiling and communicating all documents, reports, and presentation for required ownership, hotel, and regional leadership reporting.
- Own and validate all required data entry for daily, weekly, and monthly reports used for monitoring performance against budget, forecast and proforma. Ensure that the necessary reports are maintained and systematically analyzed, including but not limited to: STR, Market Segment Analysis, Source Contribution, Internet Production, Pickup and Pace by Segment, Ancillary Fees Contribution and Room Type Statistics.
- Support hotel's yield efforts, via analysis and reporting that ensure that all segments and distribution channels are mined for revenue opportunities based on budget, forecast, pace and market demand.
- Prepare documents for Weekly RevMax Meetings, providing data in terms of pricing, availability, market demand and promotional opportunities for all segments and channels.
- Deals effectively with people, fostering teamwork, and leading by example.
- Effectively manages time and processes to ensure attention to detail while achieving deadlines in work flows.
- Maintains demand-generating calendars - holidays, special events, citywide, etc.
What You Bring:
- College degree required
- Expert in Excel with the capacity to utilize advanced formulas, pivot tables, V-lookups, etc. as well as proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong mathematical and accounting skills
- Excellent Communication and abilities in English
- One to Two years' experience in Yardi Voyager and Real Page-products (preferred)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Two or more years of Property Management experience (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
