About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months CVICU experience with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active license to practice Certifications: - Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor - Active BLS certification from an approved vendor Must-Have: - 2 years of CVICU experience focusing on direct open-heart recovery - Experience with Impella and balloon pumps - No hits on state license to practice - Driver's license to verify residency Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience. Candidates should have recent CVICU experience within the last 12 months. Candidates must have a strong focus on direct open-heart recovery. Experience with Impella and balloon pumps is highly preferred. Weekends and holidays may be required per department guidelines. Candidates should be flexible with locations, shifts, and departments to expedite the hiring process. All candidates submitted must be pre-closed and ready to accept the position. Candidates must be able to report to work immediately upon acceptance. Please note that time off requests cannot exceed 7 days and are not permitted during the first week of assignment. Candidates should list all facilities, shifts, and departments they are willing to work in. Strict adherence to background check standards is required. A complete resume detailing previous facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and the number of beds is necessary for submission. A completed CVICU skills checklist from the past 12 months is required. Proof of active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days. The candidate's current driver's license must be submitted. Travel experience is highly preferred.
