Application Developer

The Opportunity: We are seeking an Application Developer to join our client’s Global Regulatory Compliance Team (GRCT) and contribute to building their GCIP platform. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering modern, user-friendly applications. This role involves both frontend and backend development, with opportunities to contribute across the full stack in an Agile environment.

• Experience: 6-9 Years
• Work Location: Phoenix, AZ
• Project Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop frontend components using React and JavaScript to deliver intuitive user experiences.
• Build and maintain backend services using Kotlin, Java, and Eclipse Vert.x.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and engineers in an Agile setting.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and daily standups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack to ensure application reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and maintain code quality through testing and automation.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack application development.
• Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, Kotlin, and Java.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ACE Studio.
• Outgoing and proactive in team interactions, with the ability to present ideas and engage in technical discussions.
• Passion for building clean, maintainable code.
• Background in risk, compliance, or audit-related applications is a plus.
