As an unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine inspections, remaining highly visible to help discourage unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. This position is primarily a driving post, so you will be responsible for monitoring the premises by vehicle, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and communicating clearly with both team members and the public. **What You'll Do:**
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random inspections around the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during rounds.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal.
+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties.
+ Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while conducting rounds, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is preferred and may be required for certain driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
+ A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
