Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification for Arizona (or eligible to obtain)
- Experience with middle school populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
- Ability to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for individual needs
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Previous resource room teaching experience a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a middle school resource room environment
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Work closely with general education teachers, instructional aides, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
