Oracle Cloud Security and Sentinel Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Policy-as-Code (Sentinel), CNAPP, and Terraform . The role focuses on implementing secure cloud architectures, enforcing governance policies, and strengthening cloud security posture using automation and policy frameworks.

Experience Required

• 1-5+ years in Cloud Security / Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

✅ Oracle Cloud Security & Infrastructure

• Implement and manage security controls across OCI services (IAM, VPC, Compute, Storage, Logging)
• Secure Oracle PaaS services (Oracle Analytics Cloud, Integration Cloud, Streaming, etc.)
• Ensure high availability, security, and observability of cloud environments

✅ Policy-as-Code & Automation

• Design and develop Policy-as-Code (PaC) frameworks using Sentinel
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Build and enforce security guardrails across cloud environments
• Enable secure-by-default configurations across infrastructure

✅ CNAPP & Cloud Security Posture

• Collaborate with CNAPP tools to strengthen cloud security posture
• Continuously improve policy enforcement and compliance monitoring
• Identify risks, misconfigurations, and enforce remediation policies

✅ Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting

• Work with cloud logging, metrics, and monitoring tools
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
• Build tools for faster diagnostics and automation

• Experience securing cloud-native and PaaS environments

DevSecOps & Automation

• Policy-as-Code: Sentinel
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform
• Strong experience implementing security controls in cloud-native infrastructure

CNAPP & Governance

• Exposure to CNAPP tools
• Experience building security guardrails and compliance frameworks

Programming

• One of:
  • Python
  • Java
  • Go

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of FinOps concepts
• Experience with XQL or advanced logging tools
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems
• Experience in automation and tool development
