The Mental Health Counselor will provide individual and group counseling , develop treatment plans, and support patients with mental health and emotional challenges . Responsibilities
- Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans .
- Conduct mental health assessments and diagnose conditions.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based interventions.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers .
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist in crisis intervention and suicide prevention .
- Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Certification: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a mental health setting.
- Skills: Strong communication, crisis management, and therapeutic intervention abilities.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
