Payroll, Benefits, and HR Administrator

Position Summary :
The Payroll, Benefits, and HR Administrator will be the primary responsible party for payroll and benefits processing at the Arizona Restaurant Supply Family of Companies.

• Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
• Contact various department supervisors for any missed time punches and/or approvals.
• Manage data-entry and record-keeping for biweekly payroll processing.
• Process off-cycle payrolls including terminations as needed.
• Process benefit and payroll system terminations.
• Manage biweekly workers compensation reporting.
• Process enrollments with new state unemployment and income tax agencies as needed.
• Provide day-to-day HR support in transactional work including filing, scheduling, and administrative work.
• Provide monthly/weekly hours and payroll reporting information for safety and certified payroll requirements.
• Prepare and administer Open Enrollment, including updated payroll systems for proper deductions tracking.
• Serve as primary point of contact for benefits and payroll-related questions.
• Manage deductions accounting uploads with Fidelity for 401k and HSA contributions.
• Perform data-gathering tasks for annual benefit audits.
• Approve and submit (as necessary) prepared 5500 forms for benefit plans with the assistance of a broker and/or plan administrator.
• Approve and ensure dissemination of annual tax forms (W2 and 1095 forms).
• Handle general HR administration including filing, recordkeeping, etc.

Competencies:

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality relating to employee information and pay.
• Experience administering medical, dental, vision, supplemental, and 401k benefits.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of payroll and benefit laws.
• Experience with multi-state payroll is a huge plus.
• Adaptability and flexibility, able to learn new skills as required.

This is a full-time hourly (non-exempt) position. Standard working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM with a one-hour lunch break.
