Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, website, or in person.
  • Guide customers through the ordering process, including providing product or service recommendations and confirming product specifications.
  • Accurately enter and monitor sales orders in the system, verify inventory levels, and communicate order status, lead times, and shipping details to customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and technical concerns by troubleshooting issues, addressing billing discrepancies, and processing product returns.
  • Research products and solutions by contacting vendors and verifying pricing and availability to support customer requests.
  • Coordinate shipping arrangements with carriers or freight forwarders, schedule pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and provide customers with tracking information.
  • Maintain and update customer account information, including contacts and shipping addresses, and follow up on expired quotes to support sales efforts.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts, restocking, and notifying supervisors of low inventory levels.
  • Support warehouse operations by assisting with order picking, packing, and helping walk-in customers during peak times.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards while maintaining accurate and organized records of customer interactions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by providing feedback to the team and management to enhance customer service processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in the cell tower industry is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and maintain punctuality and good attendance.
  • Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods.

Compensation

$20.00 – $24.00 per hour
