Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year in a contract role. This position is full-time, beginning in August and continuing through the entire school year. You’ll work with K-8th grade students, focusing on those with higher needs within a manageable, small caseload.
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional holding their CCC’s who is passionate about making a difference in a supportive school environment.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working with K-8th grade students in school settings
- Skilled in addressing higher-needs cases, with flexibility and empathy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy for identified students
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure cohesive care
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
