ESCROW ASSISTANT

Location: Tempe, AZ

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20hr-$22.85hr

• Full-time, Monday–Friday

ROLE IMPACT

The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the escrow department, ensuring smooth and accurate residential closing processes. This role directly contributes to client satisfaction by managing documentation, communicating requirements, and coordinating the details of each transaction from order opening through disbursement. Success is measured by accuracy, timeliness, and the ability to maintain a professional and client-focused service experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a variety of administrative tasks to assist with escrow closings, including order openings, document preparation, and disbursement follow-up

• Input, verify, and maintain accurate closing statement data in escrow systems

• Review and interpret purchase agreements, title documents, and escrow instructions to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Communicate proactively with clients, agents, and internal partners to gather information and resolve issues promptly

• Recommend and support continuous improvement initiatives within escrow operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of escrow or title-related experience

• Working knowledge of escrow procedures, terminology, and documentation

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and comfortable learning client or company systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Escrow or Title Management Software (e.g., SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest)

• CRM or Document Management Platforms

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience supporting multiple escrow officers or teams remotely

• Familiarity with residential real estate transaction processes

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy under tight deadlines
