As a **Security Officer - Logistics Screening** in **PHOENIX, AZ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while conducting thorough screening processes. **What You'll Do:**
+ Carry out security-related screening procedures in accordance with site-specific policies for logistics and distribution locations.
+ Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and employees while following established protocols.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Communicate security-related concerns and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
+ Maintain accurate records and logs of screening activities and report findings as directed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
