Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054
Pay Range: $22–$23/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire (TTH)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP (pending background and drug screening)

About the Role:
As a Scheduling Intake Coordinator, you’ll be the central point of contact for scheduling patient appointments, managing medication shipments, and facilitating financial assistance. You’ll work closely with providers, payers, and patients to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments for labs, telehealth/in-office visits, infusions, and injections.
• Communicate appointment details and assist with rescheduling and cancellations.
• Coordinate with physician offices for clinical documentation and prescription refills.
• Educate patients on insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
• Enroll patients in copay assistance programs and research financial support options.
• Collaborate with intake, authorization, and billing teams to ensure compliance.
• Handle inbound calls professionally and route inquiries appropriately.
• Manage medication shipments and maintain inventory records.
• Document all communications and patient account details accurately.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office, specialty pharmacy, infusion center, or healthcare intake setting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and insurance portals.
• Knowledge of insurance benefits, prior authorization, and copay assistance programs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
