Account Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a customer-focused and relationship-driven Account Specialist to support key client accounts and serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams, and business partners. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day account activities, supporting client needs, coordinating projects, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring timely communication and excellent customer service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate customer requests, order status updates, project timelines, and issue resolution activities.
Work closely with sales, procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Conduct regular client visits and meetings to support account management and strengthen business relationships.
Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and account reviews for clients and management.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and proactively resolve issues in a professional manner.
Support business development initiatives and help identify opportunities for account growth.
Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within company systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
1–3 years of experience in account management, customer service, sales support, client relations, business operations, or a related field.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills.
Comfortable working directly with clients and managing customer-facing responsibilities.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly between Ohio and Tennessee.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual Korean-English proficiency is a plus.
Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, supply chain, logistics, procurement, or industrial clients.
Experience coordinating projects and working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or business management systems.
