Salary:

$100,000 – $126,000 per year + Annual Gain Share Bonus

Job Summary:

The Product Manager – EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) is responsible for leading product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for a growing portfolio of electric vehicle charging solutions. This role serves as the subject matter expert in EV charging technology, translating market needs and customer insights into competitive, high-impact products. The position requires strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver solutions that support clean transportation infrastructure and drive revenue growth. This is a primarily on-site role with occasional travel to customer locations and industry events.

Job Responsibilities:

Core Functions

• Product Strategy Development: Build and execute a long-term roadmap for EV charging products aligned with organizational goals.

• Market & Customer Intelligence: Continuously analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to inform product direction.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure successful product development and launches.

• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee products from concept through launch, optimization, and end-of-life planning.

• Business Case Development: Conduct financial analysis and create business proposals for new product initiatives and enhancements.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain a strategic EVSE product roadmap.

• Collect and prioritize product requirements from customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Define technical specifications and collaborate closely with engineering through all development phases.

• Build strong business cases for new product opportunities and present recommendations to leadership.

• Partner with marketing to create positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

• Support sales teams with product expertise and value proposition communication.

• Track industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the EV infrastructure space.

• Monitor product performance and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.

• Conduct voice-of-customer research to guide product evolution.

• Lead cross-functional project teams through product milestones, testing, and launch readiness.

• Develop pricing strategies that support both competitiveness and revenue goals.

• Identify opportunities to expand the EVSE portfolio and enhance existing offerings.

• Execute forward-thinking initiatives that anticipate future trends in electric mobility.

• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability in product management for technical products.
