Bilingual Dispatcher Details:

• Temporary position
• $20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

The Bilingual Dispatcher manages daily residential and commercial waste collection operations by serving as the central communication hub between drivers, customers, and operations teams. This role ensures efficient routing, real-time support, and consistent service delivery while maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily waste collection routes for residential and commercial customers
• Act as primary point of contact between drivers and customers (phone, radio, and digital systems)
• Schedule, track, and adjust routes in real time to address service issues or delays
• Monitor driver activity using dispatch and GPS software to ensure compliance
• Support drivers with directions, customer concerns, equipment issues, and service changes
• Resolve missed pickups, service complaints, and route disruptions promptly
• Maintain accurate records, logs, and service updates in dispatch systems
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish

Bilingual Dispatcher Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and basic computer systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with drivers and customers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
