Job Summary:

The Quality Inspector is responsible for implementing quality control objectives and plans. The candidate will perform packaging line and manufacturing product inspections and/or audits. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Perform inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection.

  • Perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection.

  • Enter inspection results into manufacturing execution system.

  • Generate non-conformance/defect reports as required.

  • Be able to read and interpret specifications and part prints.

  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.

  • Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation.

  • Enforcing FOE/FOD, ESD and Calibration protocols.

  • Communicates and assists in the resolution of quality related problems.

  • Perform a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of PCBA inspection and IPC-A-610 certification or previous is required

  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of inspection (incoming) experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment

  • Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment

  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook

  • Ability to spend long periods of time sitting using a microscope

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Aegis Factory Logix

  • Experience working in aerospace/defense industry

  • Experience with wire bond / die attach inspection
