Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Job Title: Locum Tenens Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital – 171 beds, Level 3 Trauma Center
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Contract
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 8, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1610
• Float Requirement: May float within a 25-mile radius

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Arizona Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (required for Arizona RRT jobs)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current BLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based RRT experience
• Ability to work night shifts and float as needed

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
• Conduct respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment; document care in EHR
• Respond to emergencies, including trauma and chest pain cases
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and Joint Commission standards
