Fabrication Technician

We’re looking for a motivated, dependable Fabrication Technician to support our production process before welding. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Fabrication Shop Lead to prepare high-quality metal components and keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Operate fabrication equipment including press brakes, shears, saws, punch presses, and drill presses

• Cut, form, bend, and prepare materials according to shop drawings

• Label products and ensure accuracy with job travelers

• Perform quality checks and report issues as needed

• Operate a forklift safely

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Complete required production paperwork and data entry

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

• 1–3 years of fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferred

• Comfortable using hand and power tools

• Forklift experience a plus

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems

• Ability to read shop drawings and measurements (tape measure, basic math)

• Strong communication skills in English

• Reliable, team-oriented, and detail-focused

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly (100 lbs occasionally)

• Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and machinery

• Overtime may be required as needed
