Phoenix, AZ

Job Description

Job Description

Licensed Associate Counselor

Location: 2040 W. Whispering Wind Dr. Suite 140 Phoenix, AZ 85085

Compensation: $60,000-$76,800

Launch Your Career with Intentional Mentorship

At Flourish Together Therapy, we believe associates deserve more than supervision - they deserve mentorship.

Our practice mentorship program was intentionally designed to help early-career therapists develop confidence, clinical excellence, and sustainable private practice skills while receiving meaningful support every step of the way.

If you're naturally curious, love learning, seek feedback, and want to become an exceptional clinician, we'd love to meet you.

About Flourish Together Therapy

Flourish Together Therapy is a woman-owned group private practice committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate, evidence-based therapy for teens and adults. Our work is rooted in trauma-informed care, Health at Every Size (HAES), and affirming, inclusive practice.

We value clinicians who are authentic, relational, intellectually curious, and committed to continual growth—not only for their clients, but for themselves.

Our Associate Mentorship Program

We believe great therapists aren't simply supervised - they're intentionally developed.

As an associate at Flourish Together Therapy, you'll receive ongoing mentorship designed to accelerate your confidence, sharpen your clinical decision-making, and prepare you for long-term success in private practice.

Our mentorship includes:

  • Individual clinical supervision that goes beyond licensure requirements
  • Direct access to the Practice Owner and Clinical Director for consultation and guidance
  • Monthly multidisciplinary case consultation with clinicians across Arizona and Washington
  • Collaborative discussions around diagnosis, treatment planning, and challenging cases
  • Support developing your therapeutic style rather than encouraging a "one-size-fits-all" approach
  • Guidance in documentation, ethics, professional identity, and private practice success
  • Exposure to trauma-informed modalities including EMDR, somatic interventions, and Brainspotting
  • A culture where questions are encouraged and learning never stops

We are deeply invested in helping our associates become highly skilled, confident clinicians - not simply helping them complete supervision hours.

Our Clinician Wellness Philosophy

We believe exceptional client care begins with clinicians who are well supported.

Our practice is intentionally designed to help therapists build sustainable careers through:

  • Comprehensive health insurance benefits
  • Paid Time Off
  • A dedicated Time Away From Work program that encourages true rest
  • Flexible hybrid scheduling
  • Administrative support for billing, scheduling, insurance, and marketing
  • Efficient documentation systems
  • Transparent compensation through shared live remittance tracking
  • A collaborative team culture where clinicians genuinely support one another

When clinicians thrive, clients thrive.

Compensation

$60,000-$76,800 annually

Why Associates Choose Flourish Together Therapy

Many associate positions provide supervision, we intentionally provide mentorship.

Our goal is not simply to help you earn your independent license. Our goal is to help you become the kind of therapist clients remember for the rest of their lives—confident, thoughtful, clinically skilled, and supported throughout the journey.

This mentorship program is led by Emily Hines, LPC, Founder and Clinical Director of Flourish Together Therapy. In addition to maintaining an active clinical caseload, Emily co-facilitates a 40-hour Clinical Supervision Training Program designed to equip supervisors with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become exceptional clinical supervisors. She brings this same passion for mentorship, professional development, and clinical excellence into the growth of every associate clinician.
