Pavaiya Realty Office Assistant
SALARY: $16.00/hour - $17.50/hour
REPORTS TO: Vice Chairman, Realty Director
DEPARTMENT: Realty & Planning Dept. Position Summary: Assist the Realty and Planning Department and the Vice-Chairman. Applicant must be able to multitask and interact with the Tribal Department and Enterprises in a professional manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer telephone: receive visitors and customers.
- Receive lease, rental, and fee payments.
- Type and create various correspondences with other Tribal Departments.
- Manage, preserve, and promote Sagav Rentals.
- Maintain and distribute yearly tribal business licenses.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining Realty and Planning files.
- Coordinate office calendar of meetings and appointments.
- Maintain and update Inventory Control log.
- May cross-train with other positions.
- Assist and support all Tribal functions and events.
- Take photos of homes, make flyers for Realty Sales.
- Advertise with Pavaiya Website, Pavaiya Facebook, Advertisement on Ferry, and others as assigned.
- Purchase orders / Check Request.
- Assist with Dept. Education Outreach coordination & events.
- Assist in department projects, events, and programs.
- Assist in the evaluation of site plans and other proposals.
- Input multiple listing service data.
- Show potential buyers’ homes for sale.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be highly organized, have excellent reception skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with the public and government organizations
- Maintain Confidentiality
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent in Microsoft Word & Excel
- 1-year minimum experience in a similar position.
- Prefer Real Estate experience but not required
- Comply with Drug Free Workplace Policy
- Submit to pre-employment Drug Test
- Ability to travel when required
- Valid Driver's License
- Background check required
