CVICU RN Job Details

• Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Facility Type: Community Hospital, CVICU/ICU (16 beds, Level III Trauma Center)
• Assignment: Locum tenens / travel nurse contract
• Start Date: December 15, 2025
• End Date: March 16, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310 per week
• Call Requirements: Yes
• Patient Ratio: 1:2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU or ICU nursing experience
• Travel nursing or locum tenens experience preferred
• Ability to float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed
• Experience with Medhost EHR and Baxter pumps is a plus

CVICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the CVICU/ICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and critical care needs, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repairs, sepsis, and respiratory failure
• Respond to emergencies and participate in trauma care within a Level III Trauma Center
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as primary RN when required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies and procedures
