Principal Contracts Specialist

About the Role:
We’re looking for someone organized, analytical, and dependable to help manage and monitor contracts in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll track contract activity, review documentation, and help ensure everything stays on schedule and in compliance.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with processes, reviewing details, and improving how things get done.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule and coordinate contract monitoring activities.
- Communicate with vendors to provide expectations and timelines.
- Review contract documents and provide feedback before final approval.
- Prepare and organize reports based on contract findings.
- Track contract performance, updates, and team metrics.
- Monitor workflows and processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Check in with team members to support progress and accountability.
- Identify issues and suggest improvements to processes and systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to review detailed documents and catch inconsistencies.
- Comfortable working with data, tracking progress, and identifying trends.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow policies and apply them in real-world situations.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Requirements:
- Must pass a background and reference check.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
- May require occasional in-state travel.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for state business.
