Estimator - Commercial Flooring

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly analyze drawings and specifications.
• Attend Job site visits to review existing conditions; partner with Operations Manager, Field Manager and/or Foreman for input.
• Understand contractual terms and conditions.
• Actively track & follow-up all bids.
• Learn to provide clear detailed quantity take-offs.
• Assemble estimates and proposals.
• Organize sub-contractor’s quotations ensure accuracy of all required documents.
• Draft Project budgets and schedules for review.
• Assemble Pre-construction Review with Operations team.
• Ability to engage, develop & influence business with New and Existing Customers.
• Attend & participate in business meetings, industry conferences and network activity to improve the presence and reputation of the company.

Core Skills:

• 2+ years of polished concrete and/or resinous flooring estimating experience.
• Strong eye for detail.
• Able to maintain focus & deliver against deadlines.
• Experience and familiarity with construction industry.
• Competent with technology and programs PlanSwift, Plan Grid, Building Connected & MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Above average written & verbal communication and math skills.
• Flexibility to work in fast-paced environment, variable working hours both in office & field.
• Enjoy various challenges with a multitasked position from takeoff to sales.
• Graduate in engineering, architectural or construction management program is an asset.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands:
