Outside Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Manager to lead and scale a residential door-to-door sales team. This role is responsible for in-field leadership, daily execution, rep development, and driving customer sign-ups. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing D2D teams and understands the discipline required to win at the door.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily field operations, including territory planning, ride-alongs, and in-field coaching
- Set clear activity and sales expectations tied to installs, conversions, and revenue
- Track and manage KPIs such as doors knocked, leads generated, orders submitted, installs completed, and churn
- Coach reps on selling: speed, reliability, pricing, switching objections, and competitive displacement
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly training, and ongoing product and sales skills development
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, permitting requirements, and local solicitation regulations
- Build and maintain a competitive, accountable, and results-driven team culture
- 3+ years of door-to-door sales experience, with 1–2 years leading residential teams
- Strong ability to recruit, train, and retain high-performing D2D reps
- Comfortable managing to metrics in fast-paced, install-based sales environments
- Hands-on leader with strong coaching, communication, and accountability skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for field management
- Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based bonuses
- Annual Earnings Potential of $80k - $120k
