Job Description
Lead Commercial Installer – HVAC, Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment
$40+/hr | 4-Day Workweek | Elite Team Culture
You Might Be Our Next Lead Installer If You're...
✔ Looking to work four 10-hour days with three full days off
✔ Tired of broken promises and disconnected management
✔ Frustrated by outdated systems that slow you down
✔ Ready to be treated as the experienced professional you are
✔ Craving the chance to lead a team that raises the bar
If that's a "yes," we want to meet you.
About WCE
At WCE, we're not just another service company. We're a team of professionals who believe in excellence, integrity, and doing things the right way. Our business is built around supporting technicians - with a strong, structured system, clear communication, and a company culture where your experience is respected and rewarded. To continue growing while delivering elite service, we're adding an experienced Lead Installer to our team.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a seasoned Commercial Install Lead Technician with a minimum of:
- 5 years of specific installation experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, or cooking equipment
- 10 years of overall industry experience
- Proven leadership skills to oversee install projects and support install technicians
- A commitment to doing the job right, every time
This isn't a role for someone who's still learning the ropes. We'll train you on our systems and processes - but we need you to bring the technical expertise, strong leadership, and professional pride from day one.
Our Core Values
We live and work by these values - they're not just words on a wall. We expect every team member to uphold them:
- Communicate Relentlessly We're proactive, not reactive. No assumptions, no surprises. We keep each other and our customers in the loop - always.
- Own Everything We take full responsibility - no excuses, no finger-pointing. If it's ours, we own it. If we fall short, we learn from it.
- One Team We're in this together - teammates, customers, and vendors alike. We've got each other's backs and move as one.
- Endlessly Improve We push for better - in our work, our processes, and ourselves. Change doesn't scare us. Mediocrity does.
- Change the Standard We do what others won't. We follow through, deliver excellence, and make every job our signature.
- Enjoy the Journey We work hard - but we also believe in having fun while we do it. We spend a lot of time together, so we choose to make it count with laughter, good conversation, and a genuine appreciation for one another and our customers.
Who We're NOT Looking For
This role isn't for everyone. If any of the following describe you, we're probably not the right fit:
✘ You avoid long hours or late shifts when the job demands it
✘ You ignore procedures and "wing it" in the field
✘ You pass the blame instead of owning your mistakes
✘ You're not interested in being part of a values-driven team
We're building something exceptional - and that means hiring only those who are committed to being the best.
What You'll Do
As a Lead Commercial Installer, your impact will be felt every day. You'll:
- Perform high-quality installs for commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and cooking equipment
- Lead projects and oversee job sites, mentoring other technicians
- Execute work with excellence, start to finish
- Ensure all safety, quality, and compliance standards are met
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, team members, and customers
- Jump into every day with professionalism and pride in your craft
Why You'll Love It Here
We back up our culture with real benefits:
✅ 4-day workweek
✅ 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
✅ 401(k) with company match
✅ Paid holidays, PTO, and training
✅ Life and disability insurance
✅ Annual tool allowance
✅ Annual raffle with great prizes
✅ In-house dispatch for smoother scheduling
✅ Growth and advancement opportunities
