Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter Restoration Technician to join our restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for the reconstruction and restoration of structures following water, fire, smoke, or storm damage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to execute repairs and rebuilds to ensure properties are restored to their pre-damage condition.
Required Qualifications:
- Positive and fun attitude
- 2+ years of experience in construction, home remodeling, or restoration.
- Owns general tools and equipment to complete restoration projects. *Specialty tools not required.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials.
- Proficient in matching different types of drywall texture.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to perform physical labor and able to lift 100 lbs
- Able to perform bend, kneel, reaching, crawling, stoop, climb, stand for extended periods of time, and any other physical requirements to perform the job
- Must be able to read and write fluently in English
- Clean driving record required **WORK VEHICLE IS NOT PROVIDED**
- Must have reliable personal vehicle.
- Must be 21 years of age
**must be willing to undergo background check and drug screen**
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of construction put-back, including framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation.
- Complete painting, trim work, and installation of baseboards and moldings to restore the property.
- Work closely with the project manager to understand the project scope, timeline, and specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively.
- Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Compensation for Full-time Employees:
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
Piece Work Profit Bonus available at the Project Manager’s discretion
