Production Planner – Manufacturing

Pay: $27-$28 Per hour

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. This
individual will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to meet
customer demand, operational efficiency, and inventory targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage production plans and schedules in alignment with customer
orders, lead times, and inventory levels.
Analyze MRP data to generate work orders and ensure material availability for
production runs.
Collaborate daily with Procurement, Operations, and Inventory Control teams to adjust
schedules and resolve conflicts.
Monitor production progress and proactively adjust plans based on material delays,
equipment issues, labor constraints, or changing customer requirements.
Participate in daily/weekly production meetings, providing updates and identifying risks
to delivery timelines.
Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and response time to changes in
demand or capacity.
Required Experience Skills
Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing
environment.
Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Experience using MRP or ERP software (such as MRPeasy, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or
similar).
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work cross-
functionally in a fast-paced team setting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Adaptable and solution-oriented, capable of responding to shifting production needs
and resolving supply chain challenges.
Additional Attributes
Comfortable working in a team-centric, collaborative environment.

Experience with lean manufacturing, inventory optimization, or supply chain planning is
a plus.
Ability to interpret production metrics and propose changes to improve throughput and
efficiency.
