We're looking for a **Senior Systems Engineer** who thrives on solving complex challenges and wants to make an impact in the next generation of flight deck systems. **What You'll Do** As part of our dynamic systems engineering team, you'll play a key role in **requirements development, integration, and validation** for advanced display systems. Your work will directly influence the performance and safety of modern aircraft. **Your responsibilities will include:** + Translating customer needs into clear, actionable system requirements. + Designing and analyzing system-level requirements for hardware and software. + Developing and maintaining system software requirements. + Collaborating with software development and verification teams. + Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues across hardware and software. + Coordinating with flight control system interfaces. + Supporting hardware/software checkout and system bench development. + Investigating and resolving integration challenges and customer-reported issues. + Driving enhancements and continuous improvement for Gulfstream and other programs. You'll work closely with customers, certification agencies, suppliers, and global engineering teams-so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. **Basic Qualifications** + **Education:** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. + **Experience:** 6 years in avionics or display systems development and analysis. + **Eligibility:** U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (due to export control requirements). **Must Have Qualifications:** + Systems engineering experience with display systems. + Strong background in defining and analyzing system-level requirements. + Hands-on experience resolving hardware/software integration issues. + Familiarity with tools like multimeters, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes. **Preferred Skills** + Advanced degree in Aerospace or Systems Engineering. + Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS). + Knowledge of avionics certification standards. + Ability to solve complex technical problems within schedule and budget. + Integration and test experience in lab or flight environments. + Familiarity with configuration management tools (ClearCase/ClearQuest). + Background in debugging/testing avionics systems using simulation or hardware-in-loop environments. **Life at Capgemini** Capgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
